Description:
Wampire was our oldest school model in history, a glider that was produced until 2008. In 2019, there was a resurrection when we redesigned the model, based on the interest of one of our foreign partner, changed the model to a pusher type of airplane and now, in 2023, there are another innovations and a model named WAMPIRE II is here and completes the family of our EPP models. Compared to the initial version and the upgraded version, the model is supplemented with wings, there have been new modifications, changes in proportions and we are happy to finally present this incredibly calm and docile model. The Wampire II will certainly appeal to beginner pilots, for whom it is made, as well as pilots looking for a quiet model for relaxation or a glider with a smaller span + of course also pilots looking for a model that, even without removing the wings, can be put into the medium-class vehicle and at any time , wherever he clears his head with this utterly addictive pet that practically flies by itself!
The Wampire II was designed for complete beginners, novice pilots, so its construction is designed to withstand even less gentle landings. However, thanks to the ailerons and when setting larger deflections, the model is excellently manoeuvrable and the school model becomes a decent companion for fun, handling any basic acrobatics such as loping, headland, twisting, flying on the back and even hanging on the propeller.
The model is made from EPP material, it has all functions controlled (elevator and rudder, ailerons and engine). Thanks to the selected self-stabilizing profile and ears with uprights, the model gets out of any mess without much intervention. As a bonus of the model, of course, is its flying weight. The ratio of span, minimum surface load and 1/2 kg flight weight is of course a prerequisite for an adept at catching thermals.
The aircraft is equipped with a minimalist tasteful graphic design, where the upper and lower sides of the model are well distinguished. Due to its range and coloring, the model is thus very easy to read even at higher heights. The structure of the hull of the model consists of three parts, which are properly lightened and at the same time reinforced, gluing does not take more than 10 minutes of time, including the installation of components, and therefore the model is delivered with the hull in bulk.
The wings are attached to the fuselage using a lock and a locking screw. All components and batteries are placed inside the hull, we thought of everything when constructing the model. Everything is so beautifully hidden, nothing stands out anywhere and does not disturb the integrity of the model. At the same time, the material protects the electronics in the event of impact/fall, also against the cold during winter flying.
The setup is standard, 8-13g micro servo, 120-170W motor, 12-18A controller, 2-3S LiPol battery with a capacity of 750-1250mAh. The construction is very simple, almost unbreakable and thanks to the locks and well-thought-out construction, even a complete beginner can handle the assembly.
You will need at least a four-channel transmitter, but we recommend the standard 6-channel type, which allows independent control and adjustment of aileron servos, adjustment of deflections, exponentials, etc.
